This method of encryption is the same that is\nused by radius (RFC2138) and is also described in Applied\nCryptography.\nTwo interfaces are provided in the module. The first is\nstraight block encryption/decryption the second does base64\nmime encoding/decoding of the encrypted/decrypted blocks.\nThe idea is the two sides have a shared secret that\nsupplies one of the keys and a randomly generated block of\nbytes provides the second key. The random key is passed in\ncleartext between the two sides.\nAn example client and server are packaged as modules with\nthis module. They are used in the tests.","flavors":[],"html":"https://daemonports.org/dragonfly/security/p5-Crypt-HCE_MD5/","kind":"port","lastUpdate":null,"license":null,"maintainer":"ashish@FreeBSD.org","name":"p5-Crypt-HCE_MD5","newest":true,"newestVersion":"0.75","noVulnData":false,"origin":"security/p5-Crypt-HCE_MD5","otherSystems":[{"maintainer":"ashish@FreeBSD.org","newest":true,"origin":"security/p5-Crypt-HCE_MD5","path":"/security/p5-Crypt-HCE_MD5/","system":"FreeBSD","version":"0.75"},{"maintainer":"ashish@FreeBSD.org","newest":true,"noVulnData":true,"origin":"security/p5-Crypt-HCE_MD5","path":"","system":"HardenedBSD","version":"0.75"},{"maintainer":"ashish@FreeBSD.org","newest":true,"noVulnData":true,"origin":"security/p5-Crypt-HCE_MD5","path":"","system":"GhostBSD","version":"0.75"}],"packages":null,"pkgName":"p5-Crypt-HCE_MD5-0.75","related":null,"repository":"DPorts","requiredBy":[],"requiredByCount":0,"runDepends":["lang/perl5.36"],"status":null,"system":"dragonfly","systemLabel":"DragonFly","version":"0.75","versions":null,"vulnerabilities":null,"www":"https://metacpan.org/release/Crypt-HCE_MD5"}
