It is meant to make the\nprogrammer's sound playback tasks simpler. The programmer gives\nSDL_sound a filename, or feeds it data directly from one of many\nsources, and then reads the decoded waveform data back at her\nleisure. If resource constraints are a concern, SDL_sound can process\nsound data in programmer-specified blocks. Alternately, SDL_sound\ncan decode a whole sound file and hand back a single pointer to the\nwhole waveform. SDL_sound can also handle sample rate, audio format,\nand channel conversion on-the-fly and behind-the-scenes, if the\nprogrammer desires.","flavors":[],"html":"https://daemonports.org/midnightbsd/audio/sdl2_sound/","kind":"port","lastUpdate":null,"license":["zlib"],"maintainer":"ports@MidnightBSD.org","name":"sdl2_sound","newest":false,"newestVersion":"2.0.6","noVulnData":true,"origin":"audio/sdl2_sound","otherSystems":[{"maintainer":"amdmi3@FreeBSD.org","newest":true,"origin":"audio/sdl2_sound","path":"/audio/sdl2_sound/","system":"FreeBSD","version":"2.0.6"},{"maintainer":"amdmi3@FreeBSD.org","origin":"audio/sdl2_sound","path":"/dragonfly/audio/sdl2_sound/","system":"DragonFly","version":"2.0.4"},{"maintainer":"amdmi3@FreeBSD.org","newest":true,"noVulnData":true,"origin":"audio/sdl2_sound","path":"","system":"HardenedBSD","version":"2.0.6"},{"maintainer":"amdmi3@FreeBSD.org","newest":true,"noVulnData":true,"origin":"audio/sdl2_sound","path":"","system":"GhostBSD","version":"2.0.6"}],"packages":null,"pkgName":"sdl2_sound-2.0.4","related":["audio/sdl_sound"],"repository":"mports","requiredBy":[],"requiredByCount":0,"runDepends":[],"status":null,"system":"midnightbsd","systemLabel":"MidnightBSD","version":"2.0.4","versions":null,"vulnerabilities":null,"www":"https://icculus.org/SDL_sound/"}
