Test::Toolbox is much like some other testing modules, such as\nTest::More and Test::Simple. Test::Toolbox provides a different flavor of\ntests which may or may not actually be to your preference.\n\nThe tools in Test::Toolbox have a standard format. Commands start with (the\ncommand (of course), followed by the test name. Then there is usually the\nvalue being tested, or values being compared, then other options. So, for\nexample, this command checks compares two values:\n\n   rtcomp 'test name', $val, $other_val;\n\nIn some cases it's preferable to flip the logic of the test, so that, for\nexample, two values should not be the same. In that case, you can add the\nshould option:\n\n   rtcomp 'test name', $val, $other_val, should=\u003e0;\n\nAll test commands require a test name as the first param.","flavors":[],"html":"https://daemonports.org/netbsd/devel/p5-Test-Toolbox/","kind":"port","lastUpdate":"2026-07-16T19:01:23Z","license":["gnu-gpl-v2 OR artistic"],"maintainer":"pkgsrc-users@NetBSD.org","name":"p5-Test-Toolbox","newest":false,"newestVersion":null,"noVulnData":false,"origin":"devel/p5-Test-Toolbox","otherSystems":[],"packages":[{"repo":"NetBSD 10.1 x86_64","versions":["0.4nb10"]},{"repo":"NetBSD 10.1 aarch64","versions":["0.4nb10"]},{"repo":"SmartOS / illumos x86_64","versions":["0.4nb10"]},{"repo":"macOS 15 arm64","versions":["0.4nb10"]}],"pkgName":"p5-Test-Toolbox-0.4nb10","related":null,"repository":"pkgsrc","requiredBy":[],"requiredByCount":0,"runDepends":["lang/perl5"],"status":null,"system":"netbsd","systemLabel":"NetBSD","version":"0.4nb10","versions":null,"vulnerabilities":null,"www":"https://metacpan.org/pod/distribution/Test-Toolbox/lib/Test/Toolbox.pod"}
