It is a\nhighly legible and well-balanced design sans serif. In order to make\nthe kanji more clear and identifiable, the letterforms are simplified\nby omitting hane (hook) and geta (the vertical lines extending beyond\nhorizontal strokes at the bottom of kanji). Counters and other spaces\nare finely adjusted so that the overall balance of the type is not\nimpaired even with the use in relatively large size. The kana are made\nslightly smaller than the kanji to give a good rhythm and flow when\nsetting long texts in the lighter weights.","flavors":[],"html":"https://daemonports.org/netbsd/fonts/biz-ud-gothic-ttf/","kind":"port","lastUpdate":null,"license":["ofl-v1.1"],"maintainer":"pkgsrc-users@NetBSD.org","name":"biz-ud-gothic-ttf","newest":false,"newestVersion":null,"noVulnData":false,"origin":"fonts/biz-ud-gothic-ttf","otherSystems":[],"packages":[{"repo":"NetBSD 10.1 x86_64","versions":["1.051"]},{"repo":"NetBSD 10.1 aarch64","versions":["1.051"]},{"repo":"SmartOS / illumos x86_64","versions":["1.051"]},{"repo":"macOS 15 arm64","versions":["1.051"]}],"pkgName":"biz-ud-gothic-ttf-1.051","related":null,"repository":"pkgsrc","requiredBy":[],"requiredByCount":0,"runDepends":[],"status":null,"system":"netbsd","systemLabel":"NetBSD","version":"1.051","versions":null,"vulnerabilities":null,"www":"https://github.com/googlefonts/morisawa-biz-ud-gothic/"}
