It combines\nhigh quality in readability and legibility while carrying on the\nstately Japanese Mincho type tradition. BIZ UD Mincho bases its design\non one of the typefaces from the Morisawa font library, which has\nthicker horizontal lines than the traditional Mincho type\nstyle. Because most Mincho types have thin horizontal strokes, the\nstyle can be difficult to read on some displays or signs and for\npeople with low vision. For the universal design version, dakuten and\nhandakuten voicing marks are designed to be more legible, and the\nletterforms are adjusted to maintain their balance while having a\nlarger face and wider counters.","flavors":[],"html":"https://daemonports.org/netbsd/fonts/biz-ud-mincho-ttf/","kind":"port","lastUpdate":null,"license":["ofl-v1.1"],"maintainer":"pkgsrc-users@NetBSD.org","name":"biz-ud-mincho-ttf","newest":false,"newestVersion":null,"noVulnData":false,"origin":"fonts/biz-ud-mincho-ttf","otherSystems":[],"packages":[{"repo":"NetBSD 10.1 x86_64","versions":["1.06"]},{"repo":"NetBSD 10.1 aarch64","versions":["1.06"]},{"repo":"SmartOS / illumos x86_64","versions":["1.06"]},{"repo":"macOS 15 arm64","versions":["1.06"]}],"pkgName":"biz-ud-mincho-ttf-1.06","related":null,"repository":"pkgsrc","requiredBy":[],"requiredByCount":0,"runDepends":[],"status":null,"system":"netbsd","systemLabel":"NetBSD","version":"1.06","versions":null,"vulnerabilities":null,"www":"https://github.com/googlefonts/morisawa-biz-ud-mincho/"}
