The design is\nintended to be highly readable, reasonably compact, and visually attractive.\nGentium has won a \"Certificate of Excellence in Typeface Design\" in two major\ninternational typeface design competitions: bukva:raz! (2001), TDC2003 (2003).\n\nGentium provides glyphs for a wide range of Latin and Greek characters. The\nadditional 'extended' Latin letters are designed to naturally harmonize with\nthe traditional 26 ones. Diacritics are treated with careful thought and\nattention to their use. Gentium also supports both ancient and modern Greek,\nincluding a number of alternate forms.\n\nGentium Regular also includes some Cyrillic glyphs, but they are only early\ndrafts. A future version will include a completely revised set, including\nitalic, and will expand the support for Latin, Greek and Cyrillic to Unicode\n4.1.","flavors":[],"html":"https://daemonports.org/netbsd/fonts/gentium-ttf/","kind":"port","lastUpdate":null,"license":["ofl-v1.1"],"maintainer":"joerg@NetBSD.org","name":"gentium-ttf","newest":false,"newestVersion":null,"noVulnData":false,"origin":"fonts/gentium-ttf","otherSystems":[],"packages":[{"repo":"NetBSD 10.1 x86_64","versions":["1.03"]},{"repo":"NetBSD 10.1 aarch64","versions":["1.03"]},{"repo":"SmartOS / illumos x86_64","versions":["1.03"]},{"repo":"macOS 15 arm64","versions":["1.03"]}],"pkgName":"gentium-ttf-1.03","related":["fonts/gentiumbasic-ttf","fonts/gentiumplus-ttf"],"repository":"pkgsrc","requiredBy":[],"requiredByCount":0,"runDepends":["fonts/ttmkfdir2"],"status":null,"system":"netbsd","systemLabel":"NetBSD","version":"1.03","versions":null,"vulnerabilities":null,"www":"https://software.sil.org/gentium/"}
