Note that it is not the aim to exactly reproduce the outlines of\nthe original Adobe fonts. The SC and OsF in the FPL Fonts were designed\nwith the glyphs from URW Palladio L as starting point. For some glyphs\n(e.g. 'o') I got the best result by scaling and boldening. For others\n(e.g. 'h') shifting selected portions of the character gave more\nsatisfying results. All this was done using the free font editor\nFontForge. The kerning data in these fonts comes from Walter Schmidt's\nimproved Palatino metrics. LaTeX use is enabled by the mathpazo package,\nwhich is part of the psnfss distribution.","flavors":[],"html":"https://daemonports.org/netbsd/fonts/tex-fpl/","kind":"port","lastUpdate":null,"license":["gnu-gpl-v2 AND lppl-1.3c"],"maintainer":"minskim@NetBSD.org","name":"tex-fpl","newest":false,"newestVersion":null,"noVulnData":false,"origin":"fonts/tex-fpl","otherSystems":[],"packages":[{"repo":"NetBSD 10.1 x86_64","versions":["1.003"]},{"repo":"NetBSD 10.1 aarch64","versions":["1.003"]},{"repo":"SmartOS / illumos x86_64","versions":["1.003"]},{"repo":"macOS 15 arm64","versions":["1.003"]}],"pkgName":"tex-fpl-1.003","related":null,"repository":"pkgsrc","requiredBy":["fonts/tex-mathpazo","fonts/tex-psnfss","meta-pkgs/texlive-collection-fontsrecommended"],"requiredByCount":3,"runDepends":["print/kpathsea"],"status":null,"system":"netbsd","systemLabel":"NetBSD","version":"1.003","versions":null,"vulnerabilities":null,"www":"https://www.tug.org/texlive/"}
