You can also extract frames from\nanimations, or replace, delete, or insert frames into existing animations.\n\nSome more gifsicle features:\n- Batch mode for changing GIFs in place.\n- Prints detailed information about GIFs, including comments.\n- Control over interlacing, comments, looping, transparency...\n- Creates well-behaved GIFs: removes redundant colors, only uses\n  local color tables if it absolutely has to (local color tables\n  waste space and can cause viewing artifacts), etc.\n- It can shrink colormaps and change images to use the Web-safe\n  palette (or any colormap you choose).\n- It can optimize your animations!  This stores only the changed\n  portion of each frame, and can radically shrink your GIFs.  You\n  can also use transparency to make them even smaller.
