The type1cm package removes\nthis restriction; this is particularly useful when using scalable\nversions of the cm fonts (Bakoma, or the versions from BSR/Y\u0026Y, or\nTrue Type versions from Kinch, PCTeX, etc.).  In fact, since modern\ndistributions will automatically generate any bitmap font you might\nneed, type1cm has wider application than just those using scaleable\nversions of the fonts.  Note that the LaTeX distribution now contains\na package fix-cm, which performs the task of type1cm, as well as doing\nthe same job for T1- and TS1-encoded ec fonts.","flavors":[],"html":"https://daemonports.org/netbsd/print/tex-type1cm/","kind":"port","lastUpdate":null,"license":["lppl-1.3c"],"maintainer":"minskim@NetBSD.org","name":"tex-type1cm","newest":false,"newestVersion":null,"noVulnData":false,"origin":"print/tex-type1cm","otherSystems":[],"packages":[{"repo":"NetBSD 10.1 x86_64","versions":["0.03"]},{"repo":"NetBSD 10.1 aarch64","versions":["0.03"]},{"repo":"SmartOS / illumos x86_64","versions":["0.03"]},{"repo":"macOS 15 arm64","versions":["0.03"]}],"pkgName":"tex-type1cm-0.03","related":null,"repository":"pkgsrc","requiredBy":["meta-pkgs/texlive-collection-latexextra","wip/asymptote"],"requiredByCount":2,"runDepends":["print/kpathsea"],"status":null,"system":"netbsd","systemLabel":"NetBSD","version":"0.03","versions":null,"vulnerabilities":null,"www":"https://www.tug.org/texlive/"}
