Typically an Erlang program which needs certificates (for HTTPS/\nMQTT/XMPP/etc) provides a bunch of options such as certfile, chainfile,\nprivkey, etc. The situation becomes even more complicated when a server\nsupports so called virtual domains because a program is typically required to\nmatch a virtual domain with its certificate. If a user has plenty of virtual\ndomains it's quickly becoming a nightmare for them to configure all this. The\ncomplexity also leads to errors: a single configuration mistake and a program\ngenerates obscure log messages, unreadable Erlang tracebacks or, even worse,\njust silently ignores the errors. Fortunately, the large part of certificates\nconfiguration can be automated, reducing a user configuration to something as\nsimple as:\n\ncertfiles:\n\n  - /etc/letsencrypt/live/*/*.pem\n\nThe purpose of this library is to do this dirty job under the hood.","flavors":[],"html":"https://daemonports.org/netbsd/security/erlang-pkix/","kind":"port","lastUpdate":null,"license":["apache-2.0"],"maintainer":"pkgsrc-users@NetBSD.org","name":"erlang-pkix","newest":false,"newestVersion":null,"noVulnData":false,"origin":"security/erlang-pkix","otherSystems":[],"packages":[{"repo":"NetBSD 10.1 x86_64","versions":["1.0.10nb1"]},{"repo":"NetBSD 10.1 aarch64","versions":["1.0.10nb1"]},{"repo":"SmartOS / illumos x86_64","versions":["1.0.10nb1"]},{"repo":"macOS 15 arm64","versions":["1.0.10nb1"]}],"pkgName":"erlang-pkix-1.0.10nb1","related":null,"repository":"pkgsrc","requiredBy":[],"requiredByCount":0,"runDepends":["lang/erlang"],"status":null,"system":"netbsd","systemLabel":"NetBSD","version":"1.0.10nb1","versions":null,"vulnerabilities":null,"www":"https://github.com/processone/pkix"}
