A script can be made to to run persistently by changing\nthe interpreter line at the top of the script from:\n\n    #!${PREFIX}/bin/perl\n\nto\n\n    #!${PREFIX}/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/bin/speedy\n\nAfter the script is initially run, instead of exiting, the perl interpreter\nis kept running. During subsequent runs, this interpreter is used to handle\nnew executions instead of starting a new perl interpreter each time. A very\nfast frontend program, written in C, is executed for each request. This fast\nfrontend then contacts the persistent Perl process, which is usually already\nrunning, to do the work and return the results.","flavors":[],"html":"https://daemonports.org/netbsd/www/SpeedyCGI/","kind":"port","lastUpdate":"2026-07-16T19:01:23Z","license":[],"maintainer":"pkgsrc-users@NetBSD.org","name":"SpeedyCGI","newest":false,"newestVersion":null,"noVulnData":false,"origin":"www/SpeedyCGI","otherSystems":[],"packages":[{"repo":"NetBSD 10.1 x86_64","versions":["2.22nb20"]},{"repo":"NetBSD 10.1 aarch64","versions":["2.22nb20"]},{"repo":"SmartOS / illumos x86_64","versions":["2.22nb20"]},{"repo":"macOS 15 arm64","versions":["2.22nb20"]}],"pkgName":"SpeedyCGI-2.22nb20","related":null,"repository":"pkgsrc","requiredBy":[],"requiredByCount":0,"runDepends":["lang/perl5"],"status":null,"system":"netbsd","systemLabel":"NetBSD","version":"2.22nb20","versions":null,"vulnerabilities":null,"www":"http://daemoninc.com/SpeedyCGI/"}
