Description
fandol - Four basic fonts for Chinese typesetting
Fandol fonts designed for Chinese typesetting. The current version contains four styles: Song, Hei, Kai, Fang. All fonts are in OpenType format.

Install
Binary package:
pkg install zh-fandolFrom the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/chinese/fandol/ && make install cleanTo depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.

Message after installing
For old programs that use XLFD, please add /usr/local/share/fonts/fandol
to your X server either by:
# xset fp+ /usr/local/share/fonts/fandol
# xset fp rehash
or by adding the following line to the section "Files" of
your X-server configuration file (usually /etc/X11/xorg.conf)
and restarting the X-server:

FontPath "/usr/local/share/fonts/fandol"
