Description

This package simply re-packages the existing bencoding and bdecoding implementation from the 'official' BitTorrent client as a separate, light-weight package for re-using them without having the entire BitTorrent software as a dependency.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install converters/py-bencode.py
pkg install py312-bencode.py

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/converters/py-bencode.py/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	py312-bencode.py>0:converters/py-bencode.py
