Command line utility for ejecting removable media.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install mcweject

From DPorts:

cd /usr/dports/sysutils/mcweject && make install clean

Dependencies

No port depends on this one.

Configuration

No options to configure.

Service scripts: none

Message after installing

The file eject.allow has been installed in /usr/local/share/examples/.

Copy this file to /usr/local/etc/eject.allow, and edit to reflect
the devices you wish to be ejectable.

Unmaintained, redundant to "cdcontrol eject".

It is scheduled to be removed on or after 2025-04-03.
