Description

This software can convert each other "JIS", "SJIS", "EUC-JP", and "UTF-8" that are frequently used as encoding for Japanese string.

Interface of "jacode.pl" is same of "jcode.pl" that we know well.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install japanese/jacode.pl
pkg install ja-jacode.pl

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/japanese/jacode.pl/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	ja-jacode.pl>0:japanese/jacode.pl
