Description

This is the PHP extension for BZip3, a spiritual successor to BZip2. Compared to BZip2, BZip3 offers better speed as well as better compression ratios. Like its predecessor, BZip3 excels at compressing text or code.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install archivers/php-bzip3
pkg install php82-bzip3

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/archivers/php-bzip3/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	php82-bzip3>0:archivers/php-bzip3
