Description

The extension-helpers package includes convenience helpers to assist with building Python packages with compiled C/Cython extensions. It is developed by the Astropy project but is intended to be general and usable by any Python package.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install py312-extension-helpers

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/astro/py-extension-helpers/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	py312-extension-helpers>0:astro/py-extension-helpers
