Description

eSpeak For Asterisk provides the "Espeak" dialplan application, which allows you to use the Espeak speech synthesizer with Asterisk. This module invokes the Espeak TTS engine locally, and uses it to render text to speech.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install audio/asterisk-espeak
pkg install asterisk20-espeak

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/audio/asterisk-espeak/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	asterisk20-espeak>0:audio/asterisk-espeak
