Description

Converts text to phonemes for Piper.

Uses eSpeak phonemes with the espeak_TextToPhonemesWithTerminator function. This function allows for Piper to preserve punctuation and detect sentence boundaries.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install piper-phonemize

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/audio/piper-phonemize/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	piper-phonemize>0:audio/piper-phonemize
LIB_DEPENDS=	libpiper_phonemize.so:audio/piper-phonemize
