Description
Siege is an http regression testing and benchmarking utility. It was designed to let web developers measure the performance of their code under duress, to see how it will stand up to load on the internet. It lets the user hit a web server with a configurable number of concurrent simulated users.
Install
As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:
pkg install benchmarks/siege
pkg install siegeFrom the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/benchmarks/siege/ && make install cleanTo depend on this port in another port's Makefile:
RUN_DEPENDS= siege>0:benchmarks/siegePackages
The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
