Description
This is ser2net, a program for allowing network connections to serial ports. See the man page for information about using the program.
Note that ser2net supports RFC 2217 (remote control of serial port parameters), but you must have a compliant client. The only one I know if is kermit (http://www.columbia.edu/kermit).
Install
As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:
pkg install comms/ser2net
pkg install ser2netFrom the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/comms/ser2net/ && make install cleanTo depend on this port in another port's Makefile:
RUN_DEPENDS= ser2net>0:comms/ser2netPackages
The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.

Message after installing
Upgrading from before 4.6.4, old ser2net configuration is not supported anymore. You must convert the existing configuration into the new YAML format.
