Description
This Perl module is an Encode::Encoding subclass that uses Encode::Detect::Detector to determine the charset of the input data and then decodes it using the encoder of the detected charset.
It is similar to Encode::Guess, but does not require the configuration of a set of expected encodings. Like Encode::Guess, it only supports decoding--it cannot encode.
Install
As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:
pkg install converters/p5-Encode-Detect
pkg install p5-Encode-DetectFrom the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/converters/p5-Encode-Detect/ && make install cleanTo depend on this port in another port's Makefile:
RUN_DEPENDS= p5-Encode-Detect>0:converters/p5-Encode-DetectPackages
The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
