Description

Cache::Memchached::Fast is a Perl client for memcached, a memory cache daemon. Module core is implemented in C and tries hard to minimize number of system calls and to avoid any key/value copying for speed. As a result, it has very low CPU consumption.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install databases/p5-Cache-Memcached-Fast
pkg install p5-Cache-Memcached-Fast

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/databases/p5-Cache-Memcached-Fast/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	p5-Cache-Memcached-Fast>0:databases/p5-Cache-Memcached-Fast
