Description
GDBM_File is a perl module which allows Perl programs to make use of the facilities provided by the GNU gdbm library. If you intend to use this module you should really have a copy of the gdbm manualpage at hand.
Most of the libgdbm.a functions are available through the GDBM_File interface.
Install
As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:
pkg install databases/p5-GDBM
pkg install p5-GDBM
From the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/databases/p5-GDBM/ && make install clean
To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:
RUN_DEPENDS= p5-GDBM>0:databases/p5-GDBM
Packages
The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
