Description
memcached is a high-performance, distributed memory object caching system, generic in nature, but intended for use in speeding up dynamic web applications by alleviating database load.
This extension uses libmemcached library to provide API for communicating with memcached servers.

Install
Binary package:
pkg install php82-pecl-memcachedFrom the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/databases/pecl-memcached/ && make install cleanTo depend on this port in another port's Makefile:
