Description
bmemcached is a pure python module (thread safe) to access memcached via it's binary with SASL auth support.
The main purpose of this module it to be able to communicate with memcached using binary protocol and support authentication, so it can work with Heroku for example.
Install
As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:
pkg install databases/py-python-binary-memcached
pkg install py312-python-binary-memcachedFrom the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/databases/py-python-binary-memcached/ && make install cleanTo depend on this port in another port's Makefile:
RUN_DEPENDS= py312-python-binary-memcached>0:databases/py-python-binary-memcachedPackages
