Description
Apache ORC is a self-describing type-aware columnar file format designed for Hadoop workloads. It is optimized for large streaming reads, but with integrated support for finding required rows quickly.
Install
As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:
pkg install devel/apache-orc
pkg install apache-orcFrom the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/devel/apache-orc/ && make install cleanTo depend on this port in another port's Makefile:
RUN_DEPENDS= apache-orc>0:devel/apache-orcPackages
