Description

A version of malloc/free/realloc written by Doug Lea and released to the public domain.

Version 2.6.5

Based loosely on libg++-1.2X malloc. (It retains some of the overall structure of old version, but most details differ.)

Install

Binary package:

pkg install dlmalloc

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/devel/libdlmalloc/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	dlmalloc>0:devel/libdlmalloc
LIB_DEPENDS=	libdlmalloc.so:devel/libdlmalloc
