Description
Parallel Events and Asynchronous tasKing Library
libpeak is an experimental C library and provides necessary support for an event-based application. Unlike other event libraries, libpeak might process events in parallel on Symmetric Multi-processing (SMP) systems. Its high performance is particularly adapted for networking applications that need to process lots of data on lots of connections.
Install
As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:
pkg install devel/libpeak
pkg install libpeakFrom the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/devel/libpeak/ && make install cleanTo depend on this port in another port's Makefile:
RUN_DEPENDS= libpeak>0:devel/libpeak
LIB_DEPENDS= libpeak.so:devel/libpeakPackages
