Description

libserdes is a schema-based serializer/deserializer C/C++ library with support for Avro and the Confluent Platform Schema Registry.

The library is aimed to be used in the streaming pipeline, e.g. Apache Kafka, to perform data serialization and deserialization with centrally managed schemas.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install devel/libserdes
pkg install libserdes

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/devel/libserdes/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	libserdes>0:devel/libserdes
LIB_DEPENDS=	libserdes.so:devel/libserdes
