Description

mimalloc (pronounced "me-malloc") is a general purpose allocator with excellent performance characteristics. Initially developed for the run-time systems of the Koka and Lean languages.

It is a drop-in replacement for malloc and can be used in other programs without code changes.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install mimalloc

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/devel/mimalloc/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	mimalloc>0:devel/mimalloc
LIB_DEPENDS=	libmimalloc.so:devel/mimalloc
