Description

Nexus Repository Manager OSS provides you with an essential level of control over the external repositories you use and the internal repositories you create. It provides infrastructure and services for organizations that use repository managers to obtain and deliver software. If you create software libraries or applications for your end users, you can use Nexus Repository Manager OSS to distribute your software. If your software depends on open source software components, you can cache software components from remote repositories.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install nexus2-oss

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/devel/nexus2-oss/ && make install clean

Message after installing

Nexus Repository Manager OSS 2.15.2 has been successfully installed!

To enable Nexus, add the following line to /etc/rc.conf[.local]:

  nexus2_enable="YES"

IMPORTANT:
* Nexus runs by default as user nexus!
* javaservicewrapper must be compiled with a Java version which supports
  Java 8 bytecode: OpenJDK older than version 25!

Configuration
=============
* Start Nexus 'service nexus2 start'
* Open the following URL in your browser: http://localhost:8081/nexus
* Log in with the admin account 'admin/admin123', configure Nexus and
  change this password immediately!

Common Locations
================
The configuration files can be found at:
  /usr/local/etc/nexus2

The work, log, and run directories are located at:
* /var/nexus2
* /var/log/nexus2
* /var/run/nexus2

With the upgrade to javaservicewrapper-3.7.3 Nexus won't start unless you
review properties in your /usr/local/etc/nexus2/wrapper.conf.

Consider deleting /usr/local/etc/nexus2, /var/run/nexus2, /var/log/nexus2 and /var/nexus2 manually!"
