Description

Package::Variant allows you to build packages that return different variations depending on what parameters are given.

Users of your package will receive a subroutine able to take parameters and return the name of a suitable variant package. The implmenetation does not care about what kind of package it builds.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install devel/p5-Package-Variant
pkg install p5-Package-Variant

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/devel/p5-Package-Variant/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	p5-Package-Variant>0:devel/p5-Package-Variant

The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
