Description

This is a generic interface for placing processes in the background on both Unix and Win32 platforms. This module lets you start, kill, wait on, retrieve exit values, and see if background processes still exist.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install devel/p5-Proc-Background
pkg install p5-Proc-Background

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/devel/p5-Proc-Background/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	p5-Proc-Background>0:devel/p5-Proc-Background

Packages

The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
