Description

This module provides a portable, secure generator of RFC-4122 version 4 (random) UUIDs. It is a thin wrapper around Crypt::URandom to set the UUID version and variant bits required by the RFC.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install p5-UUID-URandom

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/devel/p5-UUID-URandom/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	p5-UUID-URandom>0:devel/p5-UUID-URandom
