Description

Classes that represent and manipulate fractions (x = a/b).

The Math_FractionOp static class contains definitions for:

  • basic arithmetic operations
  • comparing fractions
  • greatest common divisor (gcd) and least common multiple (lcm) of two integers
  • simplifying (reducing) and getting the reciprocal of a fraction
  • converting a float to fraction.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install devel/pear-Math_Fraction
pkg install php82-pear-Math_Fraction

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/devel/pear-Math_Fraction/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	php82-pear-Math_Fraction>0:devel/pear-Math_Fraction
