Description

PHP_CodeSniffer is a set of two PHP scripts; the main phpcs script that tokenizes PHP, JavaScript and CSS files to detect violations of a defined coding standard, and a second phpcbf script to automatically correct coding standard violations. PHP_CodeSniffer is an essential development tool that ensures your code remains clean and consistent.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install devel/pear-PHP_CodeSniffer
pkg install php82-pear-PHP_CodeSniffer

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/devel/pear-PHP_CodeSniffer/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	php82-pear-PHP_CodeSniffer>0:devel/pear-PHP_CodeSniffer
