Description

This library aims to enable Metrics-Driven Development for C++ services.

It implements the Prometheus Data Model, a powerful abstraction on which to collect and expose metrics. We offer the possibility for metrics to be collected by Prometheus, but other push/pull collections can be added as plugins.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install devel/prometheus-cpp
pkg install prometheus-cpp

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/devel/prometheus-cpp/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	prometheus-cpp>0:devel/prometheus-cpp
LIB_DEPENDS=	libprometheus-cpp-core.so:devel/prometheus-cpp
