Description

expiringdict is a Python caching library. The core of the library is ExpiringDict class which is an ordered dictionary with auto-expiring values for caching purposes. Expiration happens on any access, object is locked during cleanup from expired values. ExpiringDict cannot store more than max_len elements - the oldest will be deleted.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install py312-expiringdict

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/devel/py-expiringdict/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	py312-expiringdict>0:devel/py-expiringdict
