Description

python-libevdev is a Python wrapper around the libevdev C library. It provides a Pythonic API to read events from the Linux kernel’s input device nodes and to read and/or modify the device’s state and capabilities.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install devel/py-libevdev
pkg install py312-libevdev

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/devel/py-libevdev/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	py312-libevdev>0:devel/py-libevdev
