Description
PEX files are self-contained executable Python virtual environments.
More specifically, they are carefully constructed zip files with a #!/usr/bin/env python and special __main__.py that allows you to interact with the PEX runtime
Install
As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:
pkg install devel/py-pex
pkg install py312-pexFrom the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/devel/py-pex/ && make install cleanTo depend on this port in another port's Makefile:
RUN_DEPENDS= py312-pex>0:devel/py-pexPackages
The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
