Description

pycodestyle is a tool to check your Python code against some of the style conventions in PEP 8.

This package used to be called pep8 but was renamed to pycodestyle to reduce confusion

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install devel/py-pycodestyle
pkg install py312-pycodestyle

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/devel/py-pycodestyle/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	py312-pycodestyle>0:devel/py-pycodestyle

Packages

The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
