Description

Python bindings for the simdjson project, a SIMD-accelerated JSON parser. If SIMD instructions are unavailable a fallback parser is used, making pysimdjson safe to use anywhere.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install py312-pysimdjson

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/devel/py-pysimdjson/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

32a49aebc0 Pattems devel/py-pysimdjson: Fix build with Python 3.13
The PyPI sdist ships csimdjson.cpp generated by Cython 3.0.2, which fails to build with Python 3.13 (_PyLong_AsByteArray(), _PyGen_SetStopIterationValue()), and does not include csimdjson.pyx to rebuild it from. Fetch the v6.0.2 tag from GitHub, which has the same setup.py and bundled simdjson plus the .pyx, and let setup.py run lang/cython (BUILD_WITH_CYTHON=1 FORCE_REBUILD=1). While here, add concurrent to USE_PYTHON and fix portlint warnings. PR: 299530
