Description

Ratelim is a simple Python library that limits the number of times a function can be called during a time interval. It is particularly useful when using online APIs, which commonly enforce rate limits.

Features

  • Works in Py2 and Py3.
  • Greedy and patient rate limiting.
  • Preserves function signature.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install devel/py-ratelim
pkg install py312-ratelim

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/devel/py-ratelim/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	py312-ratelim>0:devel/py-ratelim

Packages

The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
