Description

Tavern is a pytest plugin and command-line tool for automated testing of RESTful APIs. Tests are written in YAML, describing the requests to send and the responses to expect, so API behaviour can be verified without writing Python code.

It also supports MQTT, GraphQL and gRPC testing through optional extras.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install py312-tavern

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/devel/py-tavern/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	py312-tavern>0:devel/py-tavern

Packages
