Description
``virtualenv`` is a tool to create isolated Python environments.
It creates an environment that has its own installation directories, that doesn't share libraries with other virtualenv environments (and optionally doesn't use the globally installed libraries either).
Usage: virtualenv YOUR_NEW_PYTHON_ENV
Install
As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:
pkg install devel/py-virtualenv
pkg install py312-virtualenvFrom the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/devel/py-virtualenv/ && make install cleanTo depend on this port in another port's Makefile:
RUN_DEPENDS= py312-virtualenv>0:devel/py-virtualenvPackages
The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
