Description
Backports some of the Ruby 1.9 API changes into Ruby 1.8, which allows for better compatibility between the two versions.
The goal of backports is to make it easier to write ruby code that runs across different versions of Ruby.

Install
Binary package:
pkg install rubygem-backportsFrom the ports tree:
