Description

Secure Tar (star) doesn't create encrypted tape archives (tar files) yet, but it can encrypt/decrypt files only using multiple blocksizes, and keysizes using the AES algorithm Rijndael. Once the standalone app is stable, then it will be incorporated with tar. The encryption is exported under exemption TSU 740.13.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install sectar

From DPorts:

cd /usr/dports/archivers/sectar && make install clean

Dependencies

No port depends on this one.

No options to configure.
