Description

Gathers statistics about real reads and writes done by the filesystem layer. It is provided in the form of an extension for PostgreSQL >= 9.4.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install pg_stat_kcache

From DPorts:

cd /usr/dports/databases/pg_stat_kcache && make install clean

No options to configure.

Message after installing

To activate pg_stat_kcache on your PostgreSQL server, add 'pg_stat_kcache' to
shared_preload_libraries in $PGDATA/postgresql.conf. For every database,
run
	CREATE EXTENSION IF NOT EXISTS pg_stat_kcache

Using databases/powa-web and databases/powa-archivist together with
pg_stat_kcache is warmly recommended.
