Description

ClamAV is an open-source (GPL) anti-virus engine used in a variety of situations, including email and web scanning, and endpoint security. It provides many utilities for users, including a flexible and scalable multi-threaded daemon, a command-line scanner and an advanced tool for automatic database updates.

This is Regular (non-LTS) Feature Release of ClamAV.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install clamav

From DPorts:

cd /usr/dports/security/clamav && make install clean

No options to configure.

Message after installing

If you want remove clamav permanently from you system
execute following commands:

 # rm -rf /var/log/clamav
 # rm -rf /var/run/clamav
 # rm -rf /var/db/clamav
 # pw userdel clamav
